Mauritius | Day Four

Waiting out the storm.

The cyclone was meant to hit today, but luckily missed us to the north and we just got some gusty winds. Since we were unable to leave the compound (car insurance here is void during level 3 so no one can drive legally pretty much), we just hung out all day and played games. We started the day with a huge brunch at our Villa and all brought different things.

Then it was nice to get a chance to know everyone a bit better as we played a game called ‘We’re really not strangers’. In the game, you ask deep questions of each other about assumptions you’ve had and more.

Overall a very chill day and not a lot to report. Hopefully as the week progresses, we will get to do a lot more hiking and exploring!
